Hard shifting only when hot Hey I have a 2007 Grand Prix GXP and just got my tune from Will with Overkill Motor Sports. Everything worked great until the other day when the Trans fluid got over 180 degrees it started to shift kind of rough and then when it got up to 205 it was just straight slamming gears. I've never heard of this happening. Any ideas?

It was fine before the tune other than a little rough if I downshifted to 1st at a high RPM. And he did tune TCM as well but this literally happend over night so I don't think it was the tune but I did email him about it but I haven't heard back yet

typical 4t65 issues as the tranny wears it increases line psi to keep it from slipping as a result it will have hard shifts usually setting a 1811 code i rebuild many of these units when it starts shifting hard i find valve body wear and burnt 2nd gear clutch packs i have transmission shop in west virginia 304 203 0183 if u have any questions feel free to give me a call Prices Garage
