Default Msd 6010 or stock PCM

I done a 6.0 efi swap about two years ago using the stock PCM and my buddy tuned it using hp tuners. I have since boosted this motor and plan on getting in the 900 hp range. I already have a msd 6010 from another project and was wondering if the msd would be better to control boost and timing curves than the factory PCM. Which would have more tune ability and help me get into my hp goal

Sell the msd and get a microsquirt so you can control both fuel and spark. If carb, then still ms system as you can adjust with engine running.

I heard that the micfosquirr was the cheapest of the cheap and also is a pain to assemble. I really like the idea of being able to retard the timing simply with a switch similar to the msd 6010. What would I need to retard the timing with a factory PCM?

Microsquirt is not a pita to assemble the harness. Search for denmah in conversion and forced induction sections. Retard can be done with stock PCM but I forget right off the bat how to do it.

You have a stock PCM already that is more than capable of being tuned correctly with boost. I wouldn't go through the hassle of switching anything.
