Default trouble getting aftermarket JVC radio to fit.

it just wont seem to fit in far enough to look fully installed. it seems to be hitting the mouting tab or whatever it is in back. can i remove or bend that little clip that is sticking up to get more room? its lloks pretty shitty with like a half inch of the radio stuill showing.
