well i finally did it... layed down the green backs for a decent head and cam combo from GEN 3 PERFORMANCE!

i should have it installed within 2 months so ill keep you all updated...

i havent recived my itemized list but im pretty sure on most of it...

-5 axis fully CNC'd and hand polished stage 2 5.7 heads
-REV 2.05/1.60 valves
-COMP dual springs
-Titainium retainers
-new seats and seals...
-flow numbers to come
-milled to a 10.8:1 CR

-MANLEY hardend pushrods

-COMP 222/224 .566/.568 114

I think with that combo and an LS6 intake you should be around 415-420 rwhp.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Probably, with lighter valves single behives and tit retainers the valvetrain would be nimble. What kind of lobes does that unusual comp cam have? Should be a GREAT street setup.

COMP said there standard HIGH LIFT lobes...i think its there XTREME cam series??
there gentle on springs...and are good for a CA emissons car!

Cool the XE qualifies I think and springs would last longer so that's an excellent choice with a solid valvetrain. Do you think that will be near 400 rwhp? Bet you can't wait!

With that cam on an M6, you better go over 400.

A buddy of mine here does 405 with only a 216/220 (1.85 rockers) in an A4.
