Default tunnel mount fitment

i went to install my tunnel mount and figured it would be real easy...but when i sit it on the tunnel with one side flush, i have this massive gap on the other side.

was everyone else like this?

It's probably because you don't have carpet.

but either way, people would still have to bolt it to the actually floor...correct?

take a measurement at the top and bottom of the front and I will compare it to mine...it does look a bit wide...I dont have carpet either

across top is 7", and across bottom is 11"

my top also measures 7" and the sides have been flexed in when I tightened it down....I installed this piece 5+ years ago and dont remember any issues with installation

i guess ill just bolt it down then, it's just going to be bent quite a bit.

any chance you can snap a pic for me since you said you dont have carpet either?
