4l80 swap, spedo reading with witn car in park and vss unhooked i have a 00 ta with a 4l80, its the second body this combo has been in so its worked before, im running the same ecm from the last combo and using the same speartech adapter harness from before. when i start the cat the spedo is reading from 20-40 mph in park. i unplugged the vss and it still reads! it also is not allowing the transmission to shift out of first i think, may not have run the car fast eniugh on the jack stands. its also wierd but it appears that the tach and spedo gages are swinging at the same rate. i extended a bunch of the harnesses so i could hide all the wiring so its possible theres a ground missing or a wire crossed. i would appreciate any help or a link to a wiring diagram for the trans and dash gages.
