Default Took The HVYSS Did some Tuning on Race Gas

Just about what we expected N/A, nothing to Impressive. We did a little tuning on the bottle and yes, it was a 200 hit. NX jetting through a single nozzle. With all of these talkers who are showing up sounds like we need the extra power to defend the crown :-) 385 LT1 12.3:1 Stock Heads/Intake Ported By AI, AI custom cam, Nitrous Outlet single nozzle spraying a 200 shot(78/42 jets fuel jet is a little lean) through a TH400.

I want to give a huge thanks to Phil and Ron at Advanced Induction for the awesome top end package on the car. Without Their dedication to excellence on their Heads and cams the Impala would not be were she is at. Thank U. And to Phil Smith BLUECAT TUNING for the most awesome tune!!!!!!

According to NX's web site at 78 jet is 200 to the tires. 275 to the crank and they calculate RWHP with their jets. Everyone has their own interputation of calculated HP!!!!!! We use NX jets

NX rates their jet sizes and hp to the rear tires. A 78 jet is 275 flywheel hp and 200 rear wheel hp.........I am prety sure we would have grenaded this motor by now tuning to a 200 shot and the tq numbers would be way higher on a bigger shot

LOL I assume you were on a chassis dyno Frank.

300 plus hp to the wheels and 210 plus in TQ on a 200 shot?. If your gonna hustle us, your not suppose to show us the dyno sheet. I'd say your a lot closer to a 275 shot on that single gun, you may want to consider backing a few degrees of timing out of it. LOL Congrat on the 700 plus club

No hustle here Brian.....The nozzle will only flow 250. We were expecting 600 to the tires max. The ring gap and bearing clearances when the motor was built were set up to run 250 max.......We have yet to push the envelope with the thing and still have no plans to.

Sounds like an outstanding job of tuning to me. Fine job men. Should have a 9.70 in her this spring if you get a good DA at Clay City. I'll be watching for sure.

Bluecat is def an awesome tuner so credit is due there to keep this thing together with a big shot on a single nozzle especially with distribution issues on larger shots. Congrats Frank!!

A lot of the credit on the nitrous tuning needs to be given to Adam Ferrell.......I was a newb to nitrous and he has shown us the ropes and helped us big time teaching me how to read plugs ect......If it wasn't for him, i certainly wouldn't have a handle on the right way to do things to keep this thing alive for 3 years!
