Default Engine Lift Points

I have the heads off the motor in my 98 SS. I'm pulling the motor sometime this week. Just the motor and not the trans. Would it be safe to use the old head bolts and lift from the head bolt holes? Where do folks usually lift from?

I can bolt up to the front no problem but the sides only have the motor mount locations. I have an old lifter valley cover that Im thinking of cutting two holes in... I may try to make a plate steel valley cover with a mounting point. Trying to find an easier way.

I've used the heads bolts before (ARP bolts) and lifted the motor before. I didn't have any problems doing it but its prob not the best way.

I recently used a QTP Lift Plate to pull the motor from my bird. They're not exactly cheap (I think I gave $60 for mine) but it works beautifully.
