Default Best trans/gear sets/ clutch/ flywheel for road racing

I have an 02 camaro with a 640hp 416 and currently using a stock 10bolt with 3.55 gears and the stock T56 and an LS7 clutch with stock flywheel. The 3.55's make it possible to stay in 4th without up shifting, to 145mph which is a good thing, but lacks some of the zip needed out of the corners that the previous 3.73 gears had.

It seems I may be at the point of needing a trans as well as a new clutch and looking for ideas. Thanks.

I hear these guys are pretty good at upgrading the t56 transmissions. (Not cheap though)

Are these the guys in TX? If so, I sent them an email last week and still no reply. Maybe I'll try it again?
