Default New here have questions about a serpentine set up for 6.0l

Hello everybody I'm not too sure if this is how we post things since im new here so here goes I have a 6.0l and has been swapped into a 86 Monte Carlo base model. Recently I had bought a new serpentine set up from GM performance parts part #19155066 I bought the both the water pump and crankshaft pulley for a 2001 camaro but I was told that I would need to run the corvette crankshaft pulley If there's anyone who could help me out with this whom may have done this themselves that information would be greatly appreciated thank you very much

Is that part number from gmpp for a corvette? If so you Will need corvette pulleys, they are set closer to the block than fbody pulleys.

If your running the camaro spacing you have many options for accessories. I personally like the holley brackets since they look more like a factory setup.

When I ordered the part (from Jegs) it says in the instructions as well that it is based off of a cts-v serpentine set up,it's more narrow with yet a little taller in height than most others I would assume or maybe the dimensions are more narrow than an f body

Note: When used on Camaro applications it will be necessary to use a Corvette style dampner.

Note: Drive system will not bolt to Production Cast Iron Blocks

I just pulled my Corvette crank pulley and replaced it with a Fluidampr 10% underdrive unit. PM me with a price if you are interested. Below is a pic of the pulley being used with GMPP 19155067 (LS7 'vette FEAD)

with cast iron block the lower boss( where the alternator goes) will have to be drilled and tapped.

Well guys I tried the cts-v accessory drive and as posted earlier,it didn't work with the cast iron block I wish I had seen that note before I bought it, it's unfortunate because they look great + all brand new accessories would have looked great so my Next options are to go with the Holly bracket set up or I also seen a bracket for 160 on e bay that was a generator relocation bracket the only problem was that I didn't see in the posting weather or not it houses the the power steering pump. My brother works for an ac/delco dealer so I guess I plan on just running all new accessory a any way just hope I can get away with less than 810 which is what I paid for the previous set up. ... We will see I will keep posting any time I make any progress.

just a quick question has anyone ever ran the holley brackets in a g body if so were there any fitment issues with the p/s pulley and the steering gear box? i know it says to run a smaller pulley if thats the case, and i'd really like to get this step out of the way i want to drive this damn thing already...as soon as central new york feels we deserve nice weather.
