I have a set of Factory GM 2000 SS 10 spokes that the rears have been widened by weldcraft in Michigan to 10.5" wide, A hub centric spacer was machined and welded using a jig to the inside of the rear wheels to correct back spacing. I had these on my 2000 SS and required no modifications to bump stops or wheel wells to fit, the wheels where bead blasted and completely powder coated with a silver grey finish, they where run approx 3500 mikes before I went to 18's perfect condition, will be shipped in separate boxes designed for shipping wheels, figure about 25.00 each insured, if less I will refund. comes with matching center caps, 16 factory lugs and 4 factory locking lugs with key, also the grey lug covers, you will need longer studs for the rear wheels. these were smooth as glass at 150MPH balanced out perfecty.

I'm curious, by widening the rear wheels would I have to get a different sized tire on the rear? Did this affect the car's handling positively, negatively, or not at all? I am considering these, they seem to be in excellent condition!

Would depend on the size of tire you currently have on your wheels. I wouldn't recommend anything more narrow than a 295 for the size of these widened wheels. Others may chime in, but that's definitely my opinion. I can't speak for the original poster, but my guess is that with the widened wheels, it probably added a tiny bit of weight to the rear with more material and the wider tire... and we all know wider tires make for great handling.

By the way... this is a killer deal. I'm stunned that they are still for sale. Probably just goes to show that selling car parts is becoming more and more difficult with the economy how it is. Good luck to the OP on selling. If by some chance you're willing to sell just the rears, let me know.

What are the sizes exactly that the wheel was widened too? I may be interested in trading my TT2's. If you're interested, send me a PM. Thanks.

bumping it up. 1.5" was added to the stock 9" wheel, I had 315/35/17 on them tad bit more weight but the handleing improvement was well worth it, + the 315's look bad ***.

If these didn't have spacers welded on I would be all over them. Why did you opt for the spacers rather than doing 1 inch wheel adapters? Would have given a real mean stance pushed that little extra bit out.

Was more inprotant to me to have the hub centric to the wheel I track my car and want everything covered, + you can allways add a spacer! to the existing back spacing but would not be able to lower the car without wheel well mods.
