Default What is best transmission mount

i got a 94 camaro with the v mount transmission mount.

had a poly way to much vibration

i was told that the 98-02 ls1 transmission mount was the best one to go with..

which i totally agree by the structure of it.

can someone verify that it will work instead of the cheap v mount ones for the 93-97 camaro with the automatic tranny

ideas

It will work, but you need the nut that goes with it. The threads on the stud are different than the early one.

I've had one in my car for years. Yes, I do notice a little more "humming" noise, for lack of a better term, in the car. But it's not supposed to be a Cadillac.....

The poly trans mount is going to shake all the change in your cupholder and everything in your center console. My car is cammed so it might be different for you.

Some observations:
Poly engine + rubber trans = massage chair
Poly engine + poly trans = jackhammer

I've only used the LT1 rubber trans mount that I got for $10. Would it really be worth upgrading or is the difference negligible?
