Question Help choosing a motor

I could really use some help guys. I have a '98 base camaro with the original 3.8l and I want to do an engine swap soon. I'd love to get a LS1 or up motor, but I can't find one for a decent price. What do you think about a 383 with a edelbrock high rise intake, hydrolic cam, and headers? It also has very little wear at all.

Let me know what you guys think

Are we talking an old school 350 stroked out to a 383? Honestly man for what it's worth you should sell your v6 car and buy a 98+ ls1 camaro

You're gonna have a rough time swapping a V8 into a V6 car, much better off getting one that started with a V8.
