Default 90 ohm fuel gauge with 40-290 sending unit?

So I bought a autometer fuel gauge from jegs that is a 0-90 ohm gauge but after getting my sending unit out of the tank in my S10 I found that it reads 40-290 empty to full. So my question is what gm vehicles have a 90 ohm sending unit so I can just get the bucket with sending unit from the pick n pull so I dont have to buy a new gauge?

Is that a 0 to 90 ohm sending unit? If so, what does it come in so I can go to the pick and pull and get one.

I seriously doubt you will find one in a Pick A Part.
GM part number 25319676 Acdelco SK 1083 for a 97 Grand Prix Vin 238197 and earlier is a direct replacement ( When you order this you will receive two 0-90 ohm senders with differing fuel pump connectors select the sender with the correct connector for your installation. (You are supposed to toss the the incorrect sender or sell it on E bay.
this is the complete fuel pump module for a 97 Grand Prix with a 0-90 ohm sender.
AC Delco # 43-918 (MU 1729)
Air Tex # TU 414 / E3978M
GM # 25162373
Broad cast code WFA
Another source is the sending unit for a 96-98 C/K pickup truck.
you will receive two sending units a 0-90 and a 0-260.
GM includes both because the truck could have used either one.
Test the resistance to select the one you need.

This link is a good post with photos showing modifications and installing the fuel pump module .
