ok the saga continues got a question the trans shop is telling me trans wires to ecu are melted from headers but i drove it roughly 6.0 miles and 3-4 smoked they said the trans core had a leak well after they replaced it it drove another 3or4 miles now if the wires were touching header they would have melted long ago they are saying it could have been touching for a while with header temp it doesnt make sense i feel like they rushed the trans back in and forgot to tie them back up and melted the wires am i crazy

I agree that any shop installing a trans should be responsible for checking that the trans harness is not touching the exhaust system. Same with the wiring to the O2 sensors.

Ok then, Well now its down to the prom or the whole computer fried. This is crazy. Just a simple rebuild going on 7 weeks. I mean the new comp. is only $126.00 programed from auto zone and these people are goin for a used one for $100.00 at the bone yard. SMH is that better for all the english majors.
