Default Bore an LS1?

Can a LS1/6 be bored, even if .005 or .010? And does anyone make oversize pistons to fit?

diamond pistons for these motors are all at least a 3.905 bore fas as I've seen. mine are that size so my motor was bored slightly to accomodate them

a .005 bore is common... not sure if .010 can be accomplished w/out resleaving though ...

OK, so that is .007" over stock. Can I assume that a machine shop would bore .007" over and then hone another .001 or .002?

Just tell them to take it out to 3.905.

Cool. I wana put some new pistons in the LS6 and get rid of the slap. It looks like the 3.905 diamonds will be the way to go. I guess if I'm going to go that far might as well put in a 4.00' crank while I have it down.

Thanks guys.
