Does it run good for the 15 mins?

Trying to diagnose problems with a ignition box is hard, leave it out.
If it runs good, suspect heat soak for the ICM.

Opti usually has some signs of miss after so many rpms, a stumble ect.

Yeah it runs fine then its like someone shuts off the ignition. It doesnt seem to miss. I have the msd box removed right now and it runs good for about 15 min then it just shuts off. If I plug the msd box in it will only run for a few min then die. Maybe something to do with the higher voltage?

I would start by telling us what coil you're running? If it's the MSD coil the ICM is overloaded without the MSD box.

Yeah I have a msd coil. I been running it for a long time. Do you think it may be too much for it? I will replace the icm and see if that fixes it.

I'm not a fan of the MSD stuff.

Owner before me put in a MSD Opti, two days after I had the car it died.
I have tried coil from there and ended up going back to a AC Delco coil.
