Default Wtb oem 98-02 ss hood

I'm looking for a replacement hood for my camaro. It's currently at a shop being prepared to get painted so the color of it is not really an issue. I'm not interested in any aftermarket or damaged hoods. Let me know what you have. Thanks

How much $$ are you willing to spend?

I have a NOS SS hood still in the original GM box. However, I will say right up front that its NOT cheap.

Ever seen one?

GM part # 12369963 - They were discontinued in 2002.

No I've never seen or heard of one before. I know ss hoods are desirable and rare so I know they cost a pretty penny. I'm willing to pay anything that's reasonable but don't see myself paying $1000+

I understand your budget limits and in todays economy it is always a concern for everyone.

I paid more then $1000 for the hood way back in 2002. And you are correct, I don't know of anyone else that has one still in the original factory gel coat.

You should be able to find a unmolested used hood in time, although it may not be the color you want.

Good luck on your search.
