efi live v1 trouble
I need a little help from the experts. I'm trying to set up my v1 so i can log without the laptop in the car. Using an old post from Joecar and the owners manual i followed the steps described. When i connect the cable to the car without the laptop and hit the record button to validate the PIDs the "log" button turns green for about 15 sec then shuts off. I then go into the read logged data screen and it shows the status of v1 as "validating pids" mode. I've done this about 10 times but it won't switch. When i go to the "program pids" menu it gives me a DMA suffix warning (normal?) then says i have no selected channels? I'm pretty lost and could really use some help. With the laptop in the car it still scans with no issues

Hey Matt - did you program the pids into the V1 using the laptop prior to blackbox logging?
Sent you an email with an attachment and some explanation...

sorry joe i missed your post. I think i did figure it out but havent had a chance to try a log yet. it was right in front of my face the whole time. it actually says something like "maximum frames per log". I'll report back when i try it out

Well here are a couple screen shots. I made the changes stated above but I'm obviously missing something because on the status page the new info isn't there. It still only logs for 600 frames
