So I got these installed yesterday, was concerned about getting ebay headlights. When the arrived quality seamed very nice, they look very clean and are not too ricey, IMO.



They look sick installed, especially compared with the fucked up OEM ones that were cloudy.

So, you have a projector light with no cut off, and with HIDs to boot.

Anyone else doing the math here?

yep we are on the same page here.
it sucks that they have it setup that way but the way your doing it youll just be driveing around with your hid high beams on.

Just because chinese manufacturer put the wrong bulbs / harness up top does not mean it isn't setup to work properly as a low beam.

depends on if there is a cutoff or not and also depends how it is aimed. We will have to wait and see some pics of it shot to a wall as well as pics of them just installed.

Not happy with the projection patter I get, but I can live with it vs the old OEM's I would go with these.

Its weird, not high like you would expect the Highbeams should have been, and the "new Highbeams" work like it was meant to be this way. I found another thread on Cad forums that said the same thing so I know it was not a lemon.

the cutoff on the upper projector seems quite high... how far away from the wall are you?

7-8'... what is a cutoff and is it adjustable? I would like it lower....

Cutoff is the cutoff of the light coming from the head light. projectors have a very sharp cutoff as you can see in your photo. however yours seem to be aimed rather high. I do not know if those headlights are adjustable but I would hope so.

That beam pattern looks very poor for a projector. Almost like the bulb sticks in too far into the housing to give off the proper fill. Which would make sense since these are just mini projectors and are not actually meant for HID bulbs. I hope those dark circles in the middle of the beam don't cast huge shadows down the road otherwise you'll be giving up a huge amount of light compared to stock.

If you want to properly aim your lights and get the cutoffs aligned you need a flat surface, a wall and park your car 20-25ft away. Measure the height of the bulb from the ground to the center of the projector and walk straight from the headlight towards the wall and mark it on there with a horizontal line and put a vertical line where the bulb center is. Also put another horizontal line 2" below. Repeat for other side. You should then adjust the headlights down or up so that the brightest part of the cutoff lines up with the 2" lower horizontal mark you put on the wall. You can also adjust the lights inboard and outboard to give a proper fill/overlap so ensure no dark spots for down road lighting.

Does anybody know if a company makes bi-functional projector headlights for our cars? low/hi beam in one projector that just moves the cutoff plate up and down like all the newer vehicles.

Update: The drivers side LED cluster stopped working last week. Expecting that being an ebay purchase I wouldn't have any chance of an exchange I cut into the back panel to try and fix myself, it is a loose wire, but no realistic way I can solder in such a tight space without taking the whole assembly apart.

I contacted the seller, ZOKURACING, and to my surprise I got an extremely quick response, saying to send the item back for exchange, then I asked if I could pay a deposit to have a new light shipped to me first so I wouldnt have to be a one headlight wonder while I waited, they said no problem...

If all ebay sellers were like this I would not be so hesitant to use ebay, thanks ZOKU.

PS, I think this was just a lemon.

I put these on a customers f250 and he had one side of the leds fail also. But again the ebay seller took care of it.
