First of all, how are you going to attach the z-bar to the engine?

Is this the fork that you have now?

Post some pictures. What exactly is "not lining up?"

Pretty sure this is the part number you need for your application.

Do a search with this #.

That picture I "borrowed" from Pace Performance I think...if I remember correctly they wanted like over $40 bucks...

I think Summit/Jegs has them for under $20...

Google that part # I gave you, there will be lots of places that handle it.

If you search a little, I'll bet there are vendors on this site that will have what you need.

It's nice to support them.

Tamraz, opgi, the parts place, year one, ebay...
you need the bbc 168 tooth version for the 621 bellhousing, not the sbc 153 tooth version.

1.25" is the depth of the throwout bearing. Trust me, they have dozens of them in every parts store in the US. It's the most common one used on GM vehicles.
Just have them look up one for a 70 BBC chevelle, same as the fork, about $12.

That sachs flywheel is used in 1999+ trucks. They use a hydraulic throwout bearing. You need one that works with the 621 bell, fork, and z bar.
I just looked up a 70 chevelle, 454 release bearing on Rock Auto, $13.
