Default 2000 camaro, need help

I just sold my SS Monte Carlo and got my first LS powered car, 2000 z28. What do you guys recommend for tires and wheels, im on a budget. Any recommendations on size and offset would be greatly appreciated. Im open to take-off as well. Thank you.

Welcome to the LS world.
Your topic is about a vague as you can get. What style wheel do you like? What size? Are you looking for handling improvements? Are you looking for strictly strait line racing (slicks and skinnies)?

Define budget, lol. No but seriously, you can get decent tire and rim packages from oe wheels llc. Less than $1000 for a set of rims and tires shipped to your door mounted and balanced. Just gotta throw em on the car. The rims come wrapped with nexens, but I am sure you could change em up Nitto 555's if you wanted to, but the price almost doubles with a higher performance tire.

whats the widest tire that you think I could fit under my car without modifications

how much rubber can I put in the back and as well as the front. I am looking to turn corners and still look good. What is everyone using? Takeoffs? 17, 18? I dont know what i can put/fit on my car, Im looking for guidance. (Not primarily a drag racer)

Thats the kind of questions you should be asking. The more direct, and strait forward the better.
Ideally for handling you want a square setup on these cars (not staggered). You can fit 17x11s all around with 315/35's with very little modification, this is a very popular setup for the auto-x guys. If you dont want to go that extreme, 17x9s with 275/40s is also a very popular setup. You certainly do not want to go any narrower than 275's in the front.

Check in the wheels and tired section. I started a thread about some questions I had and should help you.
