MSD plug wire fell apart

Default MSD plug wire fell apart

I was removing a plug and the metal part that the plug snaps into stayed on the plug. Is the wire toast?

Did the wire unravel between the insulated part in your hand and the metal part on the plug?

If so, then most likely. (to being toast)

Otherwise you can re-crimp another connector on the wire. It'll be a hair shorter, but it's easy enough.

Grab the butter, you've got toast!

take a pic of it and send it to MSD. Maybe they'll warranty it and send you one.

Just pull off the boot, recrimp a new end on there and itll be fine.

Nothing but the metal piece came out of the boot.
