Default Sticking TB

aside from putting a second return spring on my NW 90mm throttle body is there another suggestion to fix my sticking throttle body? i bench tested the TB and it works fine, when i bolt it to the FAST intake it sticks partially open. ( car will idle around 2500-3000 rpms)

Sounds like maybe the manifold bore is undersized. You
ought to be able to find the clearance problem by scuff
marks or put a little paint in the TB and manifold throats
to show where.

did you try detaching the cable and then operating the tb, just to make sure there is not a problem in that area?

Mine did exactly what you were talking about with a FAST 90mm tb.

I put grease on the bore so I could see where the blade was dragging and dremeled it there a little at a time.

I've heard you can also try loosening the blade screws and let it adjust itself then retighten them down.

I had this problem...the cable is too short and is holding the blade open. You should be able to adjust the cable length. If not, drill a new hole the cable attach on the TB to bring the mounting hole higher.
