Default Quick Retainer Question

What are the advantages of running titanium retainers and will I need them with either a TR220 or TR224?
Thanks in advance

Titanium is lighter than steel. The lighter your valvetrain the more stable, strong and reliable at rpm. You however do not need them for either cam but I would strongly recommend them for any LS1 that will be reving above the stock rev limiter. It's simply cheap insurance. After you hold a factory steel retainer in one hand and in the other a Titanium retainer you will understand the weight difference.
