my twin walbro's run all the time. I have a hobbs switch installed, wired and ready to go for long drives but i almost never switch over to it as i usually only bring the car out to run it.

Twin 340's are way over kill in my opinion at that level I'm sure you could save the money and go with 255's unless your planning on going for more power. Twin 340's are good for 1300rwhp on pump gas...

You guys are doing this with an other stock fuel system? Just the dual pumps and hotwire kits?

I plan for more power in the future. I'm a buy it one time kinda guy. That's why I'm also running fic1000cc injectors. Overkill but good for bigger and better things in the future. This is all on a s475 trans am. build thread link is in my sig which probably does not appear when I posed to here from mobile

How long have you ran it this way, and does it have any issues on hot days on a long drive?

Everyone in the fuel forum thinks running both pumps on all the time with a return fuel system will make it vapor lock and pumps fail. Because i have asked this exact same question. Setting mine up to use stock fuel line and evap as a return line with boost reference regulator.

I guess i should have specified. For those who have ran both pumps all the time. How long have you ran it setup like this? Has it caused any issues?

I plan on running two 255l/h pumps all the time for e85. Was wondering if on long drives if i would have issues.

Twins full time here as well. -8 feed, -6 return with Aeromotive regulator. Oh, if an aftermarket fuel filter gets plugged, they will spray fuel out the top of the gas tank......lol
As long as the vent is decent sized, you shouldn't have any issues.

Triple pumps -10 feed. Single pump wired like factory function, other 2 on single hobb. I dont see why running all pumps on all the time if the extra fuel is not needed in vacuum. Only making the pump/pumps lifespan shorter.
