Hey everybody, I've finally registered after getting so much info already from everyone here. Thanks! Here in Delaware I don't have but 1or 2 close friend gear heads who aren't even GM,f-body, you guys know what I mean. After one long 6year dream failed 95z to driving what I thought I'd settled on 96z A4 vert(up for sale now), flipping a 6speed 96 trans am made me realize I needed the 6speed car I drooled over for months. Always an issue with something tho so I registered. Got myself a 2000 SS M6 convertible only 36,000 miles exhaust,air lid, short throw,skip shift elim, trac reverse mod. thats all he had done. already tho 3rd gear slips out only when shifting if any pressure on gas pedal before the clutch is engaged fully. If your foot is completely off gas when shift into 3rd, foot off the clutch then touch or mash the gas pedal never a problem. Syncros, rebuild this soon? Ive had it 1month now owner did mention he drove it like this last 20,000 miles at least, still driveable fun tho. Short throw doesn't have adjustment screws plus he thought issue was before that. crazy to think it was around 10,000 original miles tho. And bummer I just missed a ticks rebuild coupon I saw here, but I can definitely use t56 expert advice. Mods in near future so I want it ready. Love theses cars. Post pics if i figure it out.
