I would do a Rockville meet-up, but a drive up to Philly and back, is just too far.

I have been itching to finally make one of these things but the 600 mi trip to middle of ******* nowhere PA to get my daughter was the final straw for my trans. Have to at least get that done before I can do anything.

OK. so who is in for a meet in rockville?

Its called branded 72. Decent BBQ. Lots of parking. Easyish to get to. And you order/pay like you would at say chipotle so there is no splitting checks.

Also they have a taproom thats a bar area.

yeah i am down. just need a little heads up so i can dump the kids on their aunt or something. I am still planning on hittin gup tony lukes though. would be nice to roll with a few caddies to help split up all the vettes and fbodys that will be there for sure. depending on who ends up being interested come next week we can pick a good meeting spot and time for everyone and have a nice late night cruise.
as for getting some BBQ just keep me posted Biggie.

My V could have a homecoming since I bought it from someone around Rockville/Gaithersburg MD area.

Food is food, when the meet is more important, but wow does that Branded 72 get some horrible reviews online.

PA/MD meet would be great!

I was thinking either the weekend after cruisin or the one after that. late may start of june.

Ive only been to Branded 72 once. was good that one time.

Im open to other ideas. But that place hits a lot of needed things for a car meet.

After you said somethign I started reading on Yelp(I was going on my one experiance)

But reading most of them. The biggest complaint isnt the food(some are). Others say the food is great.

As I said Ive only been once. Its not normally terribly busy and has LOTS of parking.

I am open to suggestions. But ive learned to avoid crowded malls/strips that nromally house most resturaunts.

http://www.yelp.com/biz/branded-72-rockville

Some were bad. But the BULK of the reviews are up at 4. ALmost none at 5.

I am open to ideas. Parking/ease of check/food are the priorities I normally go for when planning a car meet.

Let me know if you want a hand rebuilding it. I need to learn before I tackle mine.

Another similar option is Red hot and blue. its close to 270/ICC and has a LOT of parking. I havent been ther ein a while. But they are pretty consistant with food quality(the issue I see the most in the reviews of branded 72).
