Default bought a formula

Just bought a 98 formula auto. The only thing done right now are the wheels and a flowmaster catback. The car has 112K miles on it and was pretty much one owner for 95% of its life. Future plans are to install my 3600 stall and shift kit, I have a superhawk hood on the way, I also plan to buy LT's, ory, a magnaflow muffler to replace the flowmaster, lowering springs, 228R cam, 3.73's, and im undecided on putting a trans am hatch and rear bumper on? Also I've been thinking about having the wheel blue anodized with a polished lip like the anniversary TA's. Also was thinking about doing blue racing stripes to match the wheels what do y'all think?

MOAR FORMULAS!!! WOOT.

Welcome to the chicken coup.

BTW.. the 30th wheels aren't anodized, they're just painted with blue clear paint. Much cheaper option. Would look awesome.

Looks good, but whats up with the "Formula" being above the side molding?

Thanks for the compliments and the heads up on the 30th wheels. As far as the badges I have no idea why they are in the wrong place. Guess maybe it was repainted and someone didn't know any better.

My A4 also had those wheels on it when I bought it. They're not bad, but I don't know why anyone would replace the stockers with another set of 16x8 wheels though.

I'd get a blue decal kit for the bird on the filler plate and the "Formulas". I'd put the latter in the right spot and get rid of the raised emblems and protector strip. You can look at my car in My Garage and see how it looks with silver/charcoal.

IMO, white cars need to be brightened up with some color and the traditional blue on white theme looks good. Racing stripes would be nice, but I don't know of a kit with a single spear for the base hood.

Yeah, 16's wouldn't be much of an upgrade, mine were 17's.

I'd second that for the blue decal kit!

Wow. Now that I take a closer look I can see that. I didn't even know they made those in a 17. Mine were 16x8 just like stock. I have snow tires on them now.

I think they look decent enough and would just keep them if I were you unless you're just dying for something else.

Yeah mine are 17x8 they also make 18's too. I'm undecided about keeping them are not. I think they look good but I hate polishing all the time thats why I wanted to have them powdercoated or anodized. And thanks for the compliments

In my opinion I wouldn't do the TA hatch. Formulas are sleepers. And it's a Formula. Not a TA. Let people think you're running a V6 under that hood and suprise them once you race.

Looks good. Can't wait to see it lowered. I miss my 25th anniversary . I love white with black/blue accents

And its hard to tell, but are your front wheels on the wrong side? It kinda looks like the tires are facing the wrong way.

Pull the Formula lettering off and side trim. I'd also hack off those exhaust tips and do something else...Corsa clones or similar. White is a great color on these cars, but often need a stripe or something to break it up.

Awesome, another formula!!! Please no TA hatch or bumper, the formula is such a clean simple sleeper car the way it is. Lower it and I think you'll love the simple, refined look.
