Default stock trans temp sensor?

how accurate is the trans temp sensor inside the transmission. if its accurate im going to get the aeroforce interceptor gauge for my trans temp gauge to monitor my trans fluid temp for my new transmission and stall

Its installed in the valve body. I'd say its accurate.

I recall people with temp sensors on the cooling lines saying that, when comparing the two temperatures, they were within 10F.
