Default GMMG Exhaust?

So I haven't posted in a while but have a question thats pondering. I did do a quick search with no results, maybe I didnt really search well enough but maybe you guys can help me out. I am on my way to check out an exhaust and i looks like GMMG but how can I tell if its authentic? If it is indeed a true GMMG I will be lucky.

The GMMG is the only one I know of to use the baffles or w/e they are the way they do, plus it's all 304 stainless and is probably marked somehow by them.

It's not stamped or marked anywhere that I ever saw on mine. Remember, you can pick this catback up from the original maker for $625 shipped (without tips). Too many people overpay for GMMG.

I paid $750... worth every penny to me. Still looks perfect, sounds sexy as hell. Got everything shipped me to and hooked it right up.

Unless you go through madhammer, that's about the cheapest anywhere sells it. I planned on getting different tips, so I saved some money ordering from him (plus I'm a cheapass lol). Gotta love how GMMG sounds.

That's what I'm going to switch to instead of my SLP LM2 at some point.

Is there any drone with the gmmg (mad hammer ) setup? I'm possibly switching from my magnaflow catback to the madhammer setup . Was just looking for drone/ highway speed comparisons if anyone was kind enough to share.

iirc there is drone but not much compared to a borla. Plus i had no cats.

Right now i have a ls1 with borla, but i really miss my old lt1 with gmmg. It used to set off alarms with stock exhaust manifolds. And not cus it was too loud, just becuause of its deepness. I dont really consider GMMG to be loud. Just deep.

Well my car is currently full le2 setup with pacesetter headers and ory, and a magnaflow catback with like baffling in the muffler. I love how it sounds, but it drones like a sum bitch.

I keep seeing threads about gmmg being way too loud. I'm just curious how it compares to magnaflow

Man I cant figure this pic upload out. I used to be able to imbed the photo but there's a direct link to the pic of the exhaust. It's dirty but I polished a small piece of piping and it shines right up.

I've got shorties, no cat, and a gmmg catback. The drone isn't really bad at all. The sound when you put your foot down is worth whatever drone there is at cruising speeds.

^ haha ok its sold ! You know the crazy thing about it is the guy was complaining it was to loud! And switched it out for a magnaflow. Crazy right? I have one more question what kind of hangers are used on this exhaust? In the pics you can see it has a twisted flat steel welded with a hole on the pass side and on the drivers side a hook welded? Anybody have picks of what hooks it to the body?

It uses the stock F-Body exhaust hangers. Good find and good exhaust!
