Pretty sure a guy from qa1 builds the Viking shocks now. I may give them a try for the price. There pretty new on the market. So be a guinea pig and report back haha.

Yes, the former Pres and VP from QA1 and a top notch engineer operate Viking. Their dampers are similar to QA1 with some nice additional features. So, there's no guinea pig involved. We've sold a few hundred sets with zero complaints and actually some nice, positive feedback. We also have their stuff on most of our house cars with great results.

Pinion angle changes with ride height but should remain proper, unrelated to the shocks, unless you change ride height dramatically.

If you prefer a more sophisticated damper we are also a top Afco dealer. Although twin tube, double adjustables are great for the cost, some customers want or require big piston monotubes...

QA1's used to have leaking trouble. In the past few years, with lots of new engineering and technology talent there, most of the issues are gone. We have very few leakers and QA1 supports us nicely.

Viking has a bit of a seal tune-up and in general is a nice unit as well.

Awesome! LCA relocation would be a good idea as well. After that you can look at some front shocks, if you haven't already.
