Cam to Compliment a 3500 TC
I want a mild cam(don't plan on doing heads) would you guys recommend to compliment a 3500 stall? I wanna be in the mid to low 12s. Nothing BIG, nothing that'll kill my street drivability. Just something that'll make it powerful. I'm going to start marking down all the things that I'll be getting this summer so that I can install it in the fall and run in the winter. Winters down here are about 60 Degrees.

You might check out the 225 camshaft results we posted in the dyno section. The camshaft picked up 40rwhp & made great gains that peaked at a nice rpm. That camshaft is included in our current specials also!

there arent many cams that compliment that converter in these cars ive found out since my time here...stock tq peaks usually around 4000 rpms & most cams even the 225 jason speaks of peaks at around 5000...not sure about the low end tq of the 225 but you'd want a bigger stall to compliment it IMHO. If your only looking for low 12's get a 4000+ converter & gears and take out some weight and you'll be there

I'm going to put in some 3.42s, I mean my uncle is practically just GIVING them to me so that's what I'm going to use. I don't really want to go any higher with the stall. This is going to be a project for the summer. I SHOULD be working by then so I'll have all the money to put into this car. I just want to put down a wish list and I'm getting info from everyone that knows their **** when it comes to LS1s. I've read results on some guy that had pretty much everything stock, only had stronger valve springs and pushrods and a cam with .581/.575 lift, 224/228 duration at .050, 112 lobe seperation. I asked someone from where I live about the cam and he recommend pretty much the same cam. I don't want to do heads or nitrous. Just headers, suspension, cam and tuning, I've already got the 3500 stall and 3.42s that are going in by next month. Keep in mind, it's still going to be my daily driver.

IMO the comp 216/220, .525/.532 114 lsa (XE-R lobes) would be nice. With a good set of heads like Patriot 5.3 stage II (10.5:1 >10.8:1 CR); depending on the Head gasket used, and LT's, you will be running 400>410rwhp N/A. (mid >high 11's)
That cam is super street friendly and it loves juice.
Add a 100>150 shot N2O and voila you are in the high 10's
