Working on doing an LS3 top end swap and i need a throttle cable bracket. Ive heard that the SLP bracket is no good, and that you can make your own relatively easy. Im gonna try and make my own first out of angle iron, but as a back up i wanted to know if anyone ever used this throttle cable bracket by holley? http://www.holley.com/20-139.asp If so did it have the slack issue that the SLP bracket did?

I have that cable bracket and it works flawlessly with the Holley throttle body, I'm not sure about using it with other set ups.

First, that is a very clean looking intake and fuel rail setup.

Second, it bolts down to the manifold bolts, and to the throttle body in your case? would it be able to bolt just to the manifold and i cut that other piece off?
