Default Z06 cam and springs with spray?

i know people use this setup on silvy motors when going boost but does this setup respond just as well for spray?

My buddy did it and made good power but the valves eventually started floating. Cam yes, but I would still at least get some good beehive springs.

i had that cam before sprayed it with a 100 work well for me

If you already have it, go for it I went pretty quick with it using the yellow springs, but if your gonna spend money on a cam, I'd look at going with something different.

I know its not the best setup but for the money its a easy couple horse. is their a certain year that's best

That cam will work OK with nitrous but there are a lot better options out there but that cam should be fine up to a 150hp.

You can spray that cam all day long. Considering the work that goes into a cam change I would personally save up and get a better cam and set of springs. Make the work load worth the time.

I agree. Been keeping an eye out for a ms3 cam but they seem to sell right away. I'm just trying to throw something in without having to change everything. I'd replace the springs and throw in a ls2 timing set. what cam could I get away with running

The LS6 cam wont be any better down low but will shine up top and on the dope ===there are better options out there but they also cost alot more money. That cam loses on the bottom vs the stock cam but makes up for it up top and nobody knows its in there. IMO.
