Default ls7 cam install

new to thread so sorry if i post anything stupid. i have a 06 z06 and i just ordered a stage 3 cam from mti racing and extreme lift valve springs with titainium retainers also the crank pinning kit. My question is how hard is the cams to install. any diy tips that you wouldnt mind lending me. Any tips i would greatly appreciate. Thanks

Use of the search button will give you tons of info on installing your own cam.

My personal opinion : either take it to an experienced shop or solicit the help of someone experienced so you don't end up with a lifter in the oil pan, a leaky harmonic balancer, a gouged cam bearing..etc.

These engines are really easy to work on, but that car has a lot of stuff you've got to work around to get to the engine. The steering rack has to come out( or be moved) as well as the oiling, power steering coolers, etc
