Will powerglide work or th400?
So iam staring to put my car together and I have 2 trans to chose from. I have a rossler t2 sitting in my garage and then I have a fully built 1200hp pg aswell sitting in my garage. 1 is to be used 1 is to be sold but witch one . Both have transbrakes, mvb, etc etc. here is the car specs that count.
2600lbs (without me 190)
375-400hp on motor
150-175 shot nitrous
3:55 gear, full spool 8.8 rear end
295 / 55 / 15 drag radial
3600-3800rpm stall 10" converter
car will be mostly track but will see weekend small cruises and to and from work about 2 miles down the road every other week. so my question is what do you guys think I should go with?

The Glide may work fine with the turbo setup if it's fast spooling. I think I would still go TH400. You're light but down on power and gear for the Glide to work well.
Put some gears in it and the Glide would work fine, especially with N2O off the line.

On motor it will be a turd off the line running the glide. If it's a bracket car, it'll be more consistent with the glide than the TH400 IMO.
FWIW- The Turbo Action shifter will allow you to keep the same shifter when running a 2 speed or 3 speed and it's a nice dependable shifter.
Good luck!
