American Powertrain White Lightning Shifter

Does anyone know if a gasket goes between the shifter housing and the transmission? Just wondering because I got my shifter today but you would think a gasket would go between them but I didn't get one if it does.

If you had gotten a MGW it would have come with the rtv! just saying
