Like the title says I'm looking to disable my abs because I have 26" fronts and 28" rears. Also if you have pictures that would be awesome because my fuse box covers are faded cause I tried cleaning them once.

It will shut off on its own, don't you worry about that. Bulbs have to be pulled to get the lights to turn off.

Wouldn't it throw an ABS code and shut itself off? If it illuminates the ABS light, I believe you can just pull the bulb out in the back of the cluster.

Ok so I dont need to worry about pulling a fuse to make it disable itself, when the light comes on its already disabled?

Correct, the computer will read a variance between front and rear wheel speeds. This disables the ABS program as it cannot function out of its parameters.

If you don't trust it you can also have it disabled via tuning.

Abs is not part of the pcm. It cannot be controlled through standard tuning programs. I believe the bcm controls it and a tech2 is required to alter anything regarding it.

So should I not pull any fuses at all then? I removed my ABS, and the car drives and stops okay, however as soon as my ABS light popped on I got a service vehicle light as well. I pulled a few fuses related to ABS and the AIR systems (I removed that at the same time). Should I replace them?
