Worth it? Well what do you want for gains? I personally would not do a sts turbo, there are other kits you can do that would do way better. But I guess it depends on budget and other things

WHAT KIT? How about posting details, turbo size, motor specs, auto/manual, gears... PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING.

The piping is an absolute joke... Rear mounts have more lag..

Unless you are getting one killer deal and don't plan on getting real serious, steer clear.

my buddy had the sts kit. It was pretty much a basic kit pushing close to 7-8 psi. I helped him with the install. it wasnt one of the hardest projects ive worked on however, the kit seems so inefficient. all that extra piping you are paying for just to hang a turbo off the back of your car and yes they get really nasty in anything other than great weather. if youre looking for a turbo kit id say look else where.

Im also a huge fan of superchargers. for about the same money the procharger kit is a great kit. the procharger was much easier to install than the sts and no worries of heat. (for a street car, non-racer) had mine for almost 5 years and now issues

hope that helps

Agreed with most posts above, it has its pros and cons. With that money you can buy my top mount turbo kit and have no lag or issues at all lol But anyways, people have goodluck with STS kits and others badluck soo its a risk.
