turn the a/c on, look at the compressor (lowest pulley on passenger side), and pay attention to the center of the pulley, if it spins when the clutch engages, then you have a separate problem, but if it clicks and doesn't rotate, you probably have a bad clutch.

If I can assist you to get you’re A/C working in time for the hot summer days, private message me.

LOL, I have the same issue. Going to the dealer in the morning. I just don't have time to mess with it right now.

Probably out of freon, I'd just get a bottle and try it, it's only like 20 bucks.

Freon doesn't just get used up. If its out of freon there is a leak, filling it back up without finding/fixing the leak would be a waste of money.

Wow, is this for real?

I certainly didn't get this last year when my A/C compressor ate itself alive and started throwing sparks out from under my hood lol

I was under the impression that the A/C compressor wouldn't cycle if all of the R134a leaked out because the pressure switch wouldn't see any pressure. Maybe I'm wrong.

How long does the compressor cycle for? 5 sec?

You can jump the pressure switch to turn on the compressor. I have done that before to check my compressor.

It's still very possible you have a bad compressor, a clogged orifice tube, etc.

We don't have an orifice tube like that... we have a thing that hangs off the side of the condenser with a dessicant bag and a small little screen...

Check the pigtail on the high pressure switch

See above. Mine was in bad shape (occasionally shorting) and causing issues. caspers has a pigtail for easy replacement.
