Default Old school fast 78 worth porting for F1C?

I have a fast 78 on my motor now, it's a 9/1 comp 402 with a F1C being installed. I'm tapped on money for now so was wondering if it would be worth my time to port it then save for a fast 102 and ill be going to E85 any help would be great

Is the runners of the 78 = to the 90mm? Are the TB openings the only difference?

i thought fast intakes had the reputation of being weak in forced induction situations? people have said that you can see them expand and some have even blown up on dynos and such. id do some research before you drop all that $$ on a 102...
