Default TBSS Intake on LQ4 fuel rail question

Hey guys,

First post here. I've searched a bit and I'm sure I know the answer, but just need some interwebs confirmation.

I have an LQ4/4L80E going into my 66 C10. I am doing a mild cam swap and just got a new takeoff TBSS intake (intake only) to install on it, along with a 90mm TB. I plan on upgrading the injectors to 45# injectors also.

Long story short, since the TBSS is considered a truck intake and all of my drive accessories will clear it, will the fuel rails also swap from my LQ4 to the TBSS intake? Or should I look at getting the TBSS fuel rails?

Thanks in advance!

Default

They will not swap over. The crossover on the TBSS is a little taller and wider. The rails off of any of the gen4 trucks will work. They do not need to be TBSS specific. That should make them easier for you to find. Good luck with your conversion.
