Default Cat back exhaust/true duals

I have been searching for weeks not looking for a good cat back exhaust system and have not yet found one. I also am looking for a "true dual" set up but the only one I found was the Kooks dual set up. By looking at the set up it looks great but I don't really care for the straight through mufflers by the tips. I want a chambered mufflers to give it that true dual sound.

There was someone on this forums that made a custom set up using a Magnaflow muffler (single muffler stock location) with a dual in dual out set up. Anyone know where can I get this type of set up?

I am looking for performance and sound. I don't want it to be too loud.

My previous Camaro had true dual set up with Flowmasters 40 mufflers loved the way it sounded but hated the installation. This 02 SS I own now is mint condition so I would rather get a good bolt on cat back system.

Thanks!

Ebay has a TSP copy TD setup that is stainless... Dumped version right now... Shortly coming out with an under the axle, then next year over the axle. Prices are dirt cheap.

Flowmaster 1 chambers are more quiet than your bullet type mufflers but still loud. They give the chambered sound you are looking for though, sound amazing.
They also make these in a stainless finish.

Magnaflow is a really great all around carback.. Fairly tame at idle/cruising and loud at WOT.

I have the stock SLP exhaust. I have looked on eBay too and did not find that set up you are mentioning about. Search for TSP?

Thanks!

Yes, LTs only...

I thought you were looking at X pipes... If you want a catback system, look into Magnaflow. Great all around system.

bassani also makes a true dual setup. i've never heard one in person, but the videos i've seen sound ok. for the record...the true dual sound does not come from a chambered muffler....thats the chambered muffler sound.....true duals have been around a lot longer than a chambered muffler.

Default Headers and Exhaust

First try at posting a video. I have long tube Kooks headers and Borla Exhaust system. Car has a cammed LS 6 Engine. The wife likes the sound.
