I recently acquired a 5.3L and was curious to get some opinions on what I should do with it. I'm a Honda guy, so the v8 world is fairly new to me.
I would like to heads/cam/spray or cam/turbo the motor an pick up a 240 or a 70's T/A an drop in one of those. How much work would there be to swap either of those vehicles, and is it worth it?

Boost it in a 240. Been done over and over again. Swap kits are readily available from Sikky. Cost is a factor though.

Since you're a Honda guy, look up the Civette on YouTube sometime.

Its not hard to swap into either of those car, but you need to first figure out what direction the motor would go, how it would be controlled, what would the car be used for etc.
