Default 17x4.5 Front Runners with ABS

So hearing from other fbody owners you can not run 15" front runners with out it messing with your ABS system. I have the factory 4 channel ABS, and was wondering if running Racestar 17x4.5 would affect the ABS also? I would like to keep the factory ABS if possible.

No One? 17" Racestar owners, do you run the factory ABS?

The issue is not with the rim, but the circumference difference bewteen the front and rear tires. Too big of a difference in the roll out will cause issues, or at least the light to be on.

I have 15's on my car.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have a couple buddies that had their abs kick on and off with skinnys up front and they could almost not even brake... Just trying to gauge how the 17s up front will fair

It's all tire size, if you run the same height tire all the way around you won't have any issues, sounds like your buddies are slamming on the brakes, causing the abs to kick in.

Abs issues are a result of mis matched tire height. Not wheel diameter or tire width, but height. Most commonly seen when using a 26" front runner tire and 28" rear tire.
