Default Low Pad RTS wheels WILL fit F-bodys

That is if you don't mind grinding your brakes. I had another set of stock brakes laying around and had read on here that another guy made some low pad RTS wheels work with stock LS1 brakes. I decided to take the plunge and it worked out, and I am happy. The other guy that did this DOES street drive his car and has ran mid 8's with his setup, which I plan to do the same.
These are the 15x4" LOW pad with 2.5" back spacing. That means only an inch and a half is in front of the hub. These bad boys will stick under the fender well really nicely. Sorry. No tires installed yet.

Here are some pics-

It was a bit of grinding. But nothing i feel uncomfortable with. I will put them to the test though on some long roads before I go driving around to much

Right now the rears are medium pad. I went with the low pad on the front cause I wanted the tires to stick under the fender like they should. As far as running the low pads on the rear I think it's fully possible. They look to need very little grinding to fit. If I had a spare set of rear calipers laying around I would totally try and fit the front wheel on the back and then order a set of low pad rears in a different back spacing since I don't like how far the back ones stick out currently and plus the low pad wheels are at the least a pound less per wheel if not more...

You said you had an extra set of calipers, would you mind taking a pic of the one you ground to fit next to the stock one? I am definitely thinking of doing this. Those wheels stick out way too far.

Also, when you ground them did you have new pads in the caliper? That would change how close the wheel gets to it. In case you didnt think of that.

Why wouldn't you just use the medium pad?

That seems to pretty much sum it up.
