Top off LY6 - Newbie @ EFI Hey guys, I've got an LY6 longblock that's getting put back together and am looking to top it off with EFI. I've never put together an EFI motor, so I am looking for some advice. What do i need to finish off the long block? This is going in a CJ7 rock crawler project. From what I can see, I will need the following:
Complete intake
ECM - e38 from what I've read?
Wiring harness - to match ECM
I have the option to get a L92 complete intake with everything with the exception of the DBW pedal. How much of a pain is it to find a pedal that will match, or convert to DBC?
I do not have an ecm yet, but from what I've read I will need the e38. Also from what I've read, the e38 is not compatible with DBC.
This portion of the build is a clean slate as of right now... Recommendations?
