Default New HOOD!

Bought a Superhawk hood off of Ebay yesterday! Didn't realize how hard to come by they were. 100% brand new. Shipped from Roger.

Very nice. Do you have the WS6 option for your Firebird; will this hood work like the original for the Ram Air?

I'm pretty jealous. To clear up confusion, that is a picture of what the hood looks like and not his actual car. His car is going to look awesome with that hood as all birds do.

I do not have the WS6 option, unfortunately, but yes it will work with the Firebird air box. Unfortunately he does not have a website he only sells through Ebay. You just have to get lucky and find one for sale. HE usually charges between 600-700 dollars PER hood, and its made to order.

Gluemaker is correct, i have not received the hood yet as it is handmade to order. I just included the picture from the Ebay listing to give a reference point for people who were unfamiliar with the hood look/design.

Good deal man. He makes awesome stuff, and he is a bit of a perfectionist. No dought you will be pleased with your hood. I almost bought the same hood from him. But after talking with him for a while, he said he wanted to make the WS9 Outlaw again. So this is what he is making me as we speak.

For those who need it, I have his contact information. But I won't give out his number, only his email. He is an awesome guy to talk to.

I was just curious I've heard roger's hoods fit really well. I bought one of the other superhawk hoods recently that no one likes. It has needed a lot of work and adjustments but I am getting close to having it right and will keep messing with it till its perfect.

His hoods fit like a glove. You would sware that it was OEM. Even a SLP hood new from the factory may need a small amount of work. All the fiberglass hoods need to be fitted to the car. Some fit better than others. Some are warped. I have yet to hear complaints about hoods made by Roger. He stands by his work.

the price on his resin is going up. i got one of last lower priced hoods. mine is on my car but not painted. i love it. excellent quality and shipped fast to me. havent bolted it to the hinges or aligned anything yet. i got a hold of him through email by searching through older superhawk hood threads.
