Default Wheel Spacer vs Adapters - Questions?

So I understand that its preferred to run a bolt on adapter rather than a spacer which would likely require longer studs.

The smallest adapter I can find is a 1", but I only need about a 1/2". I know some guys are running the 15mm spacer with longer studs but I would prefer to have the bolt on adapter for the added strength.

Is it possible to mill the 1" adapter down? I don't have one to look at.

So it looks like I can get a bolt on adapter in 20mm ?
Comes with short lug nuts and new studs.

It doesn't say it specifically, but isn't DRM style a hubcentric as well?

20mm is over 3/4". Just get longer studs and 1/2" spacers.
